The first thing about this animation that caught my attention was the fact that it was created using watercolours, which must've taken an extremely long time to create.
I also found it interesting how this animation uses a narrator, and also voices of the characters, as this is something that not many of the animations throughout history that I have watched so far on this course.
I liked how, although the characters were simple in appearance, they were very relatable and it was easy to empathize with their story of a family member passing away. It was interesting to see how the different characters treated and reacted to the grandmothers death.
The transition between scenes and frames was created with smudging effects with the water colours, and I liked this smooth yet unusual effect. The plain colours used also captured the mood and atmosphere of the animation.
